Thats the kind of thing that should be an option for Conquest mode. The PC version of Battlefront 2 went some way to solving this with its XL mode that was available for the Geonosis, Hoth, and Kashyyyk maps, played out like the Assault mode, and featured hundreds of AI-controlled units on the map at any one time. You find yourself spending ages trekking across the map to get to a few enemy units while the AI gradually thins out the enemys numbers. This works for smaller interior maps like the Tantive IV but when it comes to the really large scale maps like Geonosis and Hoth, its just not enough. Currently, in a standard Conquest battle, the game can support up to sixty-four AI-controlled units. So now that a new Battlefront is in the works, it only makes sense to take advantage of that advance in technology and up the ante in terms of scale. Processing power has seen a massive increase and games are becoming more complex. Larger Scale Battles Its been nearly eight years since the release of Battlefront 2 and were about to see a new generation of consoles hit the market.
